Absher's project managers and superintendents are empowered to make necessary decisions on their projects, and they serve as our front-line quality-control officers. We work closely and cooperatively with subcontractors to allow them to do their best work while promoting their awareness of their role and niche within the big picture of the overall project.
Absher is one of the region's largest employers of union labor. Union carpenters and crews are the best-trained in the industry, and receive regular training to refine existing skills and to acquire new knowledge of the latest construction technologies in both processes and materials. Historically, the best of this group have worked their way into supervisory roles within our organization and remained with us permanently.
