Project Manager
Absher Construction Company is seeking an individual with a minimum of five years of experience as a project manager. This person will be responsible for construction of multi-million-dollar commercial & industrial buildings. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture or related field, twelve years related experience, proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and scheduling software such as P3, Suretrack or MS Project. Understanding of Prolog is helpful. Responsibilities include creating & managing project budgets, specifications and change orders as well as managing subcontractor services. Project Engineer
Absher Construction Company is currently seeking project engineers for several project sites located in the greater Seattle area. Selected candidates will be responsible for daily on-site administration of RFIs, contract change orders, sucontractor communications, posting plans and specifications, shop-drawing and submittal review, etc., as well as assisting the project superintendent and project manager with daily documentation and coordination, attending meetings, taking meeting minutes,etc. This position requires two to five years of commercial construction experience. Candidates must be computer literate, with experience using MS Project or Prolog helpful.
